Stress Management Audits
Topic: Management

First of all , We should understand why we should consider any stress management program or workshops. Do they really work? Are Stress management workshops for you? Is it important? In most companies where Stress plays a major role play, may it be insurance, Information technology or even Law and Stock Brokerage, Stress is a major problem for the industry. People loose efficiency in workplace over a period of time due to stress. The stress releif workshops arranged usually involves the employees to relax through the period of time in short breaks For 15 minutes to an hour.

Now does this really work!!! Well it does if the patient (or should we put it as employee) takes his exercises seriously and does it over the period. A short relaxation technique helps improve efficiency over the period of the day and people have found a great difference in their work in terms of productivity.

Most people who come to work after a long drive and get to work directly to work will usually have a grouchy day and complain a lot. They have already been on the rough traffic and the noise is still running on their head even in the silent office room. Once at the office, it the Employee just switches off his mobile phone, Starts a soothing music and shuts his eyes for 10 minutes, he would see that the whole day changes from there. The traffic is gone, The grouch is no more and most of all, you have a fresh start of a day from there. Stress management techniques could differ from time and from person to person. What works for one may probably not work for another. A suggestion and a perfect counseling from a stress management and personal development expert should usually get things in track in most cases.

The whole of the stress management program involves a series of Tasks involved. These are really basic and usually involve complete dedication from the employees.

  1. Identifying the event which increases your stress level at work or home
  2.
  3. Time management is an essential part of the whole stress management workshop and its essential the counselor understands schedule and work environment.
